GPS

The device requires a GPS connection to be able to record a ride.

As soon as the device has a clear view of the sky, it starts to connect to the GPS satellites. In ride mode, a bar with the message "Searching GPS" is displayed. This usually takes a few seconds. However, after a change of location or in difficult conditions, this process can also take several minutes in exceptional cases.

For the best possible GPS signal, give the device some time with a clear view of the sky before you start riding. This allows as many satellites as possible to be connected.

If the GPS signal is weak, the message "GPS inaccurate" is displayed. Your ride will still be recorded, but with less accuracy.

Trees, tunnels, buildings, mountains and other obstacles blocking the sky can affect GPS accuracy.
